Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of our organisation, to co-ordinate and control all deliveries, vehicles and drivers.
You will be responsible for:
- Cost effective planning of vehicles to meet customer requirements.
- Carrying out driver card checks and walk-round inspections.
- Managing and ensuring adequate resources of vehicles and drivers are adhered to.
- Set up and maintain driver/transport policy and procedures.
- Managing logistics operations while controlling Driver operations and advancing the efficiency of the supply chain
- Ensuring that shipping methods complying with rules, regulations, and laws
- Ensure that all defects are reported, recorded, and rectified following company procedures, completing all relevant documentation.
