EIKON Group are expanding our Account Management team in London and are looking for highly motivated, experienced person to join that team. The Translation Account Manager will be part of the team managing localization of content across Theatrical, Episodic, and Streaming/VOD platform releases.
Working within the Account Management team, you’ll be responsible for coordinating incoming translation work, establishing which resources are required, identifying, and engaging the relevant personnel, assigning, and scheduling work across multiple territories (up to 40 languages) and campaigns (features, episodes, trailers, marketing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, process, and schedule, translation/localization orders
- Monitoring resources’ progress throughout the production process to ensure everything is going according to schedule to ensure a timely delivery
- Sourcing, identifying, establishing, and maintaining relationships with freelance translators and companies
- Building a network of translators/linguists
- Establishing and maintaining commercial and legal relationships with all resources, including creating and maintaining contracts, confidentiality, and financial terms
- Monitoring translator rates + Invoices
- Liaise with translators to ensure delivery requirements are met, providing updates as required
- Provide administrative support to a wider team of Account Managers working on content creation
- Billing of completed projects, including project reporting and tracking
- Assist with troubleshooting and oversee resolution.
Key Skills & Experience required:
- At least 2-5 years’ experience in a localization role
- Digital cinema and localisation or subtitling experience would be advantageous
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- You are keen to learn about technology and operational production workflows
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritise, multi-task and manage workload in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Professional, positive, and proactive attitude
- You are comfortable working as part of a team, and equally able to work on your own initiative
Working hours and location:
- The role will be based in EIKON London (Golden Square, Soho, London)
- Working hours are set from 9:30am to 6pm however the candidate should be willing to work outside of these hours based on business requirements.
