Contract: 24 Month Fixed Term Contract

As a graduate in Change and Delivery, you’ll support our HR, Performance and Transformation teams over a two-year period, whilst learning valuable skills to develop your career.
The local government landscape is evolving and we're looking for a graduate to play a central role in delivering exciting projects and services that have real and tangible outcomes for people’s daily lives.
This position involves a two-year placement which will enable you to gain insight into the corporate services at the heart of our organisations, working across both Chorley and South Ribble Council. This will offer you the unique opportunity to experience working across two councils with individual priorities. You will experience sector leading innovation as well as getting hands on to play a vital role in delivering high profile pieces of work that make a real difference to our residents.
What you’ll be getting up to
- You’ll rotate around three services with the Change and Delivery team. This includes:
o Performance and Partnerships – understand and assist this team maintain high levels of performance across both Councils
o Transformation and Change – Support transformation projects across the Councils, and help improve our service for our residents and businesses.
- You’ll support the teams day-to-day operations, but also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects to improve the service
Who we’re looking for
- We’re looking for determined graduates who can take ownership of problems.
- You’ll be confident and able to work collaboratively with colleagues around the organisation.
- You’ll be a great communicator. Our Change and Delivery team works with every corner of the organisation, so you’ll need to be able to understand, analyse and present information effectively.
- You’ll have a minimum 2:2 degree.
