The Opportunity


We’re looking for an experienced Transformation professional to be part of our Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team running our Transformation Program across the two Area geographies of Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA).


The objective of our Transformation Program is to enable BMC to deliver against the EY global strategy, NextWave, and the way that it comes to life in the respective geographies.


The Transformation team supports scoping, management, and delivery of key projects in this Portfolio. The team works at both a Global and Area level, fulfilling the need to enable a stronger BMC function.


This is an exciting opportunity to support and drive key change and transformation initiatives, and helping to maximize BMC impact by connecting Global, Area, and Regional teams. A mastery of change, business agility and operational excellence are therefore core parts of this role.


We are looking for an individual who can help to ‘join the dots’ working across teams and programs to add value and insight, whilst also understanding the need to streamline and drive delivery. You need to be a strong communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, have an excellent eye for detail and possess a capability to deliver at pace.


This role reports to the Global BMC Transformation Program Lead with a dotted line to the APAC BMC Leader and the EMEIA BMC Leader. The role holder will work closely with these three leaders and their respective teams to help lead internal projects and initiatives to assist strategic imperatives, identify opportunities for improvement and best practices and support the Area BMC leaders to engage with the Regional BMC teams. You will help translate strategic vision into action and strengthen process understanding and discipline across the function. You will be a key member of the Area BMC team and provide project management, agenda setting, capturing and following up on key actions and helping with the enablement and deployment of key priority initiatives.


Your key responsibilities:


  • You will be a key part of the BMC Transformation Program team, working collaboratively and teaming for success
  • You will be a key part of the APAC and EMEIA BMC teams, working collaboratively and teaming for success
  • You will manage a range of projects as agreed between the Transformation team and the Area BMC leaders, working closely with key stakeholders to align and deliver
  • You will support the drive for an environment of continuous process improvement for the change
  • You will support the Lead on regular updates to key stakeholders and ad-hoc requests as required
  • You will support the Area BMC leaders in
  • You will understand the need to collaborate and ‘join the dots’ as needed across multiple projects within the portfolio
  • You will use insight and feedback to inform your decisions and demonstrate effectiveness to senior leaders
  • Where relevant, you will manage internal and external supplier delivery


Skills and attributes for success:


  • You will understand the importance of delivering transformation projects to a function, advising and using your learned knowledge of tools and methodologies to deliver
  • You will be experienced in building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across a global organization
  • You will be able to navigate and deliver in a highly matrixed landscape helping and guiding to resolve complex issues and problems
  • Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively
  • You will have strong project management and organization skills across a range of projects within the transformation portfolio.
  • You will be able to use your ability to deep dive in new areas an apply your transformation skillset to ensure success
  • You will have strong writing and communication skills, strong attention to detail and an ability to communicate clearly to a global audience
  • Ability to think strategically and focus implementation and change efforts to achieve strategic goals
  • Ability to provide insights & impact based on data and understanding of data analytics
  • Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex efforts at a global level


To qualify for the role, you must have


  • Proven track record of success in transformation/ project management, working with senior levels
  • Experience of building strong relationships and influencing senior business leaders and peers
  • Experience of developing and delivering transformation programs that support business objectives and drive change


Ideally, you’ll also have


  • 5+ years transformation / project experience
  • Experience of working on transformation programs
