Job description
As a Waffle King Dessert Parlour Ass. Manager you will be well-presented, friendly and approachable to both guests and your team members, have a hospitality or retail background (ideally an ice-cream or coffee Parlour) with some management or supervisory experience. You will help with the day-to-day running of the business with daily responsibilities including food preparation, service, stock management, staff rota, as well as other key elements such as checking invoices, deliveries, cleaning rotas and promotional suggestions and being able to work weekends is essential.
You will ensure that Waffle Kings standards are adhered to by all staff, at all times. This will include Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Customer Service and Dessert Presentation. Food handling, food hygiene and food safety are an important part of our business. Therefore, you must have a Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and a good working knowledge of Food Safety and Food Hygiene as well as Health and Safety regulations and will ensure the Parlour and all team members are compliant at all times.
You will be also be responsible for:
· Maintaining stock levels and ordering stock
· Cashing up and reconciliation of the tills, maintaining the float and that there is adequate change for the trading period ahead
· Developing staff rotas and ensuring the Parlour is staffed appropriately for the trading period
· Ensuring the Parlour is fully compliant with all Hygiene,Health and Safety regulations
· General upkeep and maintenance of the Parlour
· Following the operational guidelines
· Maintaining the brand standard
· Any other task in the course of your duties.

Immediate start available, ideally fulltime but flexible. We are upfront that you will be needed 3 weekends in 4, and in the summer ten weeks we close at 10pm Mon-Sat so please bear this in mind

- Supervising experience: 3 years (preferred)

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
