About the role
We are seeking a Transformation Business Analyst to join the Customer Transformation team; this is a hybrid role where you will mainly be working remotely.
Working within the Portfolio function of Customer Transformation this area is responsible for the end-to-end governance and management of the customer transformation portfolio – from review through to governance and benefits realisation.
Your role as Transformation Business Analyst will lead a range of key portfolio activities to provide management information, analysis, and commentary to enable the department and Thames to make informed business decisions on what transformation is focused on and why.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support in designing and developing a set of reports to measure our deliverables and report progress back to different levels of the organisation including senior leadership
- Accountable for qualifying and prioritising transformation opportunities & initiatives through clear analysis of data – coming from multiple sources
- Responsible for opportunity impact assessments and business capability solution sourcing and maintaining data as a resource for future reference
- Delivery of risk assessment analysis for change requests
- Scoping/sizing of the opportunity – working alongside channel performance to review data
- Provide key recommendations to support business cases for Customer Transformation
- Design & deliver the analytical aspect of technical solutions using key tools & skills in analytics
- Conduct necessary research required to put forward recommendations on priorities
What we're looking for?
- Experience of change and transformation desired
- Experience working as either a financial, reporting, data, or business analyst analysing data, creating reports, and working with business functions to construct business cases
- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports and presentations
- Experience putting together business cases and collecting information from different functions, asking critical questions, and developing benefits and cost structures
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts
