As the Transaction Monitoring Quality Control Team Leader, you will act as deputy to the QC manager and manages a team of QC SMEs who execute QC framework activities to ensure adherence to the requirement which includes reporting, analysing trends and managing individual performance and ensuring that the team is appropriately trained.

Acting as an SME on transaction monitoring supporting with queries from analysts and investigations managers
Reviewing and decisioning QC initial appeals made by the investigations team.
Managing the allocation of admin duties including checking pulling samples for the current days work, checking that work is allocate appropriately, 4 eye checks, 6 eye checks, remediation, QA initial reports.
Ensuring procedures and process documents are maintained and understood.
Analysing performance, and recommendations for changes and reviews to optimise effectiveness and address emerging trends
Managing the operational success of the Transaction Monitoring Quality Checking Team, which includes ensuring the team is appropriately resourced, trained and informed to be able to discharge their responsibilities in the investigation of transaction monitoring alerts, through to escalating any suspicious activity.
What you’ll bring.
Knowledge of financial crime transaction monitoring and quality control.
Financial Crime or Compliance background with previous experience in AML/Sanctions investigations and preferably quality control.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Experience of working in the Financial Services industry with knowledge of EDBH or CCB banking products and services.
Comprehensive understanding of key financial crime legislation
The ability to quickly assimilate and analyse information in a range of circumstances
Proven investigation and rationale write up skills.

This is a permanent opportunity which can be based in Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Sheffield or Bradford locations.
This role can offer flexible working arrangements with standard working hours between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
