As part of HSBC Global Banking, Issuer Services (ISV) has been providing trustee services for over 30 years and is one of the most experienced Trustees in the market.
We provide trustee and agency services across a wide range of products, including Escrows, Project & Export Finance, Securitisation, Loans and Debt programmes.
ISV operates in both the Debt Capital Markets and the Bank Debt Market and manages a mix of business generation, documentation, operation and relationship management/customer interface with a broad spectrum of globally based clients.
We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Transaction Management Associate
Role Purpose
This role of a Transaction Management Associate will involve working as part of a post-closing team dedicated to the review and negotiation of documentation related to existing transactions with a particular focus on agency/custody/escrows/facility agent/security agent/trustee roles. You will provide support to the team with certain post-closing administration tasks in relation to such appointments, with a focus on physical security receipt, cataloguing and dispatch.
In this role, you will:
- Review post-closing deal amendments, trustee discretionary matters, and assist on defaulting transactions
- Present to Fiduciary Risk Committees, both Local and Global, as appropriate
- Produce and report monthly outstanding figures relating to receipt of documentation, set up of new appointments and diary actions
- Be responsible for monitoring compliance within governing documentation requirements, preparation of internal reports, collecting and processing original documents and support with transaction execution
- Manage Portfolio of clients with regular security release activity, and record revenue generation
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Previous background in a transaction management or comparable legal role with some experience of syndicated loans/legal documentation would be desirable although bright graduates with a law or similar degree will be considered
- A willingness to learn and develop within the legal and capital markets sector preferential
- Strong communicator, both written and verbally, who is comfortable managing and liaising with external stakeholders
- You will be confident in your approach, have an eye for detail and the ability to read and understand contracts
- Able to work in a high pressure environment and manage conflicting priorities effectively
The role has a hybrid working pattern allowing for home based and office based working at HSBC offices in London.
