This role reports into the Area Head of Transactional Banking and Liabilities and will be based in regional business centre to lead and support local origination and execution across TBL.
You'll be responsible for the origination sales and delivery of complex solutions across the liabilities and transaction banking product suites to defined segments of the Corporate Banking Market.
The difference you’ll make.
Executing the International and Transactional Banking and wider SCCB strategy to drive new business and continue to serve with excellence the portfolio across SCCB.
Generating and keeping active new and existing prime current accounts whilst managing client transaction banking and deposit opportunities.
Supporting the relationship directors and Business Development directors in your area of the business by developing opportunities with prospect pools.
Calling on prospective customers to create/tailor cash management and deposit solutions and converting them to be Santander prime customers
Originating and generating activity and interest in relation to prospecting calls and customer meetings.
Utilising the international and sector proposition as a differentiator in order to drive origination efforts, and advantage this is the execution of TB&L products.
What you’ll bring.
Proven track record with a major bank in selling transactional banking and deposit products successfully in the Corporate and SME UK market across multiple industries / sectors
Relationship management skills - client facing winning manner, earning and maintaining trust.
It would also be nice for you to have.
Maintain good understanding of competitors’ TBL propositions, including insights into industry trends.
Significant experience of sales to UK Corporates
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strategic mind-set-ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions.

Eligible for a discretionary performance-related annual bonus
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
