Purpose of Job
- Devise the Organisational Training Strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes.
- Identify training and development needs and drive suitable training initiatives that improve the quality of service of the organisation.
- To work across all departments to get employees up to speed in both the overall needs within the company and to meet CQC standards of Care, IIP Status and Skills for Care.
- Have a background preferably in business, leadership, human resources, development and education.
- Enhancing employee's skills performance and quality of work, ensuring that all mandatory training courses are completed in a timely manner.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify and assess future and current training needs through the job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals in consultation with Line Managers.
- Draw an overall or individualised training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations of all employees.
- Deploy a wide variety of training methods.
- Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness and success.
- Produce and manage training budget in conjunction with our Finance Manager.
- Provide opportunities for ongoing development of our employees.
- Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.
- Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices.
- To ensure the databases are monitored and updated to enable generation of appropriate funding is applied for.
- Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees
- Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic training based on the organisation’s goals.
- Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
Outline Terms & Conditions
- The Annual Leave year runs from April to March Holiday entitlement for a full year is 25 Days rising to 30 Days after 5 Years, plus Bank Holidays.
