What You Will Achieve
You will help Pfizer build its information technology solutions. You will leverage your technical skills to design, develop and implement IT solutions which satisfy the short term or long terms needs of Pfizer. You will work on systems architecture, network systems and application infrastructure to deliver results.
As a Senior Manager, your advanced knowledge of the principles and concepts in the discipline and comprehensive knowledge of other disciplines will enable you to lead complex projects across the division. Your ability to develop and manage plans will facilitate in achieving objectives, interpreting internal and external business challenges and recommending best practices for improvements. While managing complex project environments, you will be able to anticipate and troubleshoot roadblocks and influence teams to achieve targets for the division. How You Will Achieve It
  • Participate in collaboration across the Digital and Learning Partner organizations to develop the technology strategy, standards, and process for evolving and centralizing Pfizer’s learning systems and platforms.
  • Responsible for all enterprise technology solutioning in support of 180K colleagues, contractors and third-party providers
  • Responsible for portfolio/project management and delivery of learning solutions with a focus on SAP Success Factors, Degreed and learning management system data and reporting.
  • Effectively collaborate with business partners and peers to interpret, understand and achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Lead the designing, developing, testing and deploying of technical solutions, including providing oversight of our vendors and contractors, as needed.
  • Collaborates with other solutions, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to understand Pfizer standards, requirements, partnering with them through the solution lifecycle.
  • Ensure applicable Pfizer SOPs, policies and procedures are followed for each project/enhancement, etc.
  • Ensure delivery of solutions are on-time, on-budget, and inclusive of the scope/objectives committed to the business.
  • Balance working across numerous concurrent project teams.
  • Provides support and guidance on highly technical implementation and BAU issues, as necessary.
Must Have Qualifications
  • A combination of LMS, SCORM and modern learning platform implementation (LRS, LXP, 3rd party content providers, augmented reality) – SuccessFactors is a must.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, or an affiliated field
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, good documentation practice and coordination of traceable test cases.
  • 7+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise level solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to work effectively and independently in a dynamic problem-solving environment.
  • Innovative mindset with strong delivery-oriented values
  • Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise systems
  • Track record for pursing practical outcomes and applying influencing skills to gain acceptance for new approaches among senior management and influence colleagues within and outside of direct reporting structure.
  • Ability to positively influence and affect the decisions of others using facts, logic, and credible personal presence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry
  • Demonstrated ability to produce positive outcomes working in matrixed teams that span multiple functions.
  • Experience designing, developing, and/or implementing workplace solutions.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Pfizer compensation structures and benefit packages are aligned locally, the US Salary range provided does not apply to the Tampa, FL or any EXUS locations.
Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and/or eligibility.
