With a heritage spanning over 150 years, this local business has a strong order book and in line with its growth plans are looking to establish a in house training academy to continue to invest in their staff and their future.
In order to do this, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious Training Coordinator who has experience within the construction sector and who aspires to developing into a Training Manager role – this really is a unique experience for someone who has the vision and desire to develop their skills.
Our perfect person will already be working within construction within a similar role; you will also need to have a good understanding of working within the CITB framework, and have confident IT skills.
You will be well rewarded too with a salary of up to £35,000 and a benefits package which includes company car/car allowance, company events, pension, on-site parking; medical insurance and life assurance. Hours of work are 40 per week and holidays are 24 days with the opportunity to buy extra days.
The Job:
Reporting to the Head of People you will be responsible for:
- Identify training needs across the business
- Plan, book and coordinate training
- Arrange training events
- Liaise with suppliers regarding rates
- Manage the company training database
- Provide support for both Apprentices and Graduates
About You:
You will already be working within a similar role within the construction sector; you will also need:
- Experience in dealing with CITB
- Confident IT skills
- Articulate and numerate
- Confident, outgoing and organised
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Full Driving License
