Job description
We are looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing process improvement initiatives, developing and implementing new processes and procedures, and providing guidance and support to teams in order to ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, an understanding of Lean/Six Sigma methodology, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
· Continuous improvement
· To be a source of proposals improvement actions
· Manage the site's UP approach (Master Plan, Road Map, Coop Up, etc.), and ensure coordination with central methods
· Leading and participating in improvement projects (assisting project managers, etc.)
· Training , coaching mentoring operators/managers in Lean tools (theoretical and field training).
· To be a support for other departments on Lean tools and methodologies (problem solving, 5s ,...)
· Ensure the maintenance (deployment for new installations) of existing Lean tools and approaches (including Standards), in conjunction with the departments concerned
· Participate at UP exchange meetings (seminar, benchmark between sites, sharing of good practices, etc.)
· To be a driving force in the dissemination of good practices within the group and the integration of good practices on the site
· Maintain and distribute instructions and documents related to continuous improvement tools (5S, SMED, SIM, etc.)
· Carry out advanced data collection, performance indicators and analysis reports for process mapping, adherence/development of budgets and cost analysis.
· Manage the site Continuous Improvement approach to ensure consistency in methods and a joined-up approach in systems is met, such as process mapping, meeting structures and knowledge management.
· Support Operations Director in the delivery of change initiatives into the operations, developing value stream mapping to define/analyse the current state and the transition to Future State.
· Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the strength to ensure change is permanent.
· Support the Site Operation Management in meeting Health & Safety, HACCP/TACCP/VACCP, Production, Quality and Hygiene targets, with assistance to develop systems and procedures.
· To compile and analyse data collection for reports in an accessible and easily understood format.
Technical data & Manufacturing execution system.
· To maintain and improve the databases.
· Ensure that instructions/standards/process data are updated in the technical database.
· To be contributor or initiator of code creation workflow (MDM)
· Monitor compliance with the MES core model on plant.
· Ensure that the training materials for new MES users are up to date (training carried out by production)
· Train users on new MES developments
· To be the site interlocutor for the IT department concerning MES and Olap Excel Cubes bugs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
