About the role
The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all training and compliance are up to date. They will work with stakeholders to coordinate the successful delivery of learning track all job specific/key skill training for each role and support managers to develop their team members for future succession plans.

About the role
The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all training and compliance are up to date. They will work with stakeholders to coordinate the successful delivery of learning track all job specific/key skill training for each role and support managers to develop their team members for future succession plans.
- Coordinate, deliver, and maintain compliance training as identified for roles inc. Food Safety, Allergen, Equality & Diversity, Integrity, etc.
- Support the wider HR team with any general HR activity as required.
- Act as a point of contact for colleagues and managers who may wish to discuss training matters.
- Proactively work with stakeholders across the business and establish processes to validate the learning needs of their people and develop required performance support initiatives.
- Design and develop learning and performance solutions (including third-party solutions) to address identified performance gaps.
- Explore new ways to engage and reach our employees.
- Maintain learning KPIs.
- Analyse data from a range of data points to produce recommendations to stakeholders on learning priorities.
- Maintain the Learning Management System, ensuring that all content is up-to-date, relevant, and assigned correctly. Drive consistent, relevant traffic engagement of our learning platform.
- Work with business experts in the design and execution of mandatory training and policy review.
- Research emerging industry trends, new technologies, concepts, and performance techniques.
- Support the development of training plans across Shift Teams to maintain mandatory compliance and build training plans for keeping skills at a necessary level. Provide regular feedback to the Plant Manager on training compliance for their respective teams.
- Review the departments' assets, update the SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) gap analysis, and provide feedback to the manager with time scales to complete.
- Write, review, and amend SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and OPLs (One Point Lessons). Update Document Control Systems and Site Training to reflect the latest document revisions. Train pertinent personnel on the latest documents and modifications.
- Facilitate the delivery of 'on the job' training and ensure competence is verified.
- Audit standards of training delivery for quality and fitness for purpose.
- Experience in a training role within the manufacturing environment
- Professional Trainer Certificate (desirable)
- Managing a Learning Management System (desirable)
- Excellent people skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to identify and put into practice improvement ideas.
- Excellent working knowledge of allergen awareness and food manufacturing processes.
- Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proven experience in managing multiple tasks/projects successfully.
