Overview:
We're looking for a talented Project Planner to join our team and support an ongoing project with use of MS Project and MS Project Professional

We want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of PMO experience and awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments.

Responsibilities:
As the Projects PMO/Planner you will be involved in the planning function of projects. This will include
  • The production, updating and monitoring of programmes using MS Project
  • Obtaining information from the project team to input into programmes
  • Ensuring the production and reporting of up to date programmes throughout the duration of projects using MS Project
  • Reviewing progress with input from the project team and producing reports as necessary
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
  • An additional course or certification in Business Consulting
Skills:
  • MS Project / MS Project Professional
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Team work and emotional intelligence
  • Good self-management – continuous performance is both an objective and a mind-set
  • Knowledge of applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge. Has practical experience of and is proficient with project management tools and frameworks required to deliver
  • Knowledge of client/server architecture, object-oriented design/development, and package implementation
Experience:
  • Extensive use of MS Project and MS Project Professional
  • Applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and solving problems
  • Providing technical guidance to enable others and solving technical queries from junior colleagues
  • Using project management tools, tracking plans and actual statistics from inception through to implementation
