Atalian Servest is currently recruiting for a Training Coordinator to join our passionate and driven team, on a permanent basis, on the LNER contract!
The Training Coordinator will need to ensure that employees are trained in line with the Atalian Servest training policy and the client’s requirements, with the overall aim of improvement to the delivery of our service. The Training Coordinator will design, create and develop training modules and associated learning materials in conjunction with the client and to reflect the client’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- You will assist the team by working together to provide a fantastic onsite service.
- You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels whilst empowering the team to do the same.
- In conjunction with Stakeholders and other Atalian Servest managers, set Training and development strategies and annual plans.
- Responsible for delivering T&D strategy, T&D operational plans and budget across the contract.
- Working collaboratively with all stakeholders in your region and across Atalian Servest where applicable, be a champion for change; challenging existing policies and processes and advocating new ways of working, influencing stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure buy-in.
- Contributing to effective operational delivery and improvement across the contract.
- Oversees and delivers contract Training and Development programmes, that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos etc.
- Develop and implement induction training for all employees.
- Determine training needs and requirements for the organisation, teams and individuals.
- Responsible for accurate record-keeping of all T&D so that is compliant with Company policies and is auditable by internal and external agencies.
- Reviews existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance.
- Modify or create course material and training manuals to meet specific training needs.
- Presents in-person and online training sessions or hires qualified personnel to do so.
- Schedule training sessions and organize information technology and other equipment and manage course enrolment.
- Monitors training programmes and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and makes updates as necessary.
- Works with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.
- Manages costs for all programmes, productions, and publications in order to report to the Senior Team regarding a return on investment.
- Keeps current on the activities and needs of that industry by attending regular meetings, conferences, and seminars.
- Maintains an understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods.
- Working alongside colleagues from the Group L&D Team administrate
- Responsible for ensuring that the services are delivered safely and effectively across the LNER contract.
About You:
- Demonstrable experience in training delivery, preferably in a Transport setting or with a focus on cleaning as a subject matter.
- Demonstrable experience of creating training courses and/or e-learning modules
- Highly professional, you will possess excellent presentation skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the business
- Experience in developing course material, bespoke to contract/workplace requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- You will be able to work to deadlines and prioritise as well as be flexible with working hours and days.
- Excellent attention to detail required.
- Must be flexible to business needs.
