Job Introduction

Sodexo Live! have a fantastic opportunity for a Training Co-ordinator to join our awesome highly motivated team at St. James’ Park, the home of Newcastle United Football Club. This exciting new role offers the successful candidate the challenge of striving for service excellence, to ensure continued success in developing our people.

As our Training Specialist, you will have responsibility for coordinating the training and development provision for all catering staff through the venue training programme and on-line portals, developing appropriate training programmes, working with external providers and delivering material across our casual and full-time talent pool.

You will be experienced in a similar role where you will have designed and delivered training, be an excellent communicator and able to build strong relationships at all levels.

Main Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • As the Training Co-ordinator for Sodexo Live! at NUFC, you will be the kingpin of the Northeast training team. Bringing together the latest content & implementing ideas to make our internal training the best in the business, while using your experience and influence to lead the way and show the local community that the hospitality industry can be a great place to work!
  • As a team we are passionate about people development, we believe that everyone has the potential to be successful in their career and with you coordinating our dedicated support, training, coaching and a plan of action – they will!
  • You will be responsible for creating and delivering innovative learning strategies and development programmes for a variety of team members. You’ll also be a pioneer for our national employability programmes for young people, and the key to developing our onboarding & talent attraction programmes for Sodexo Live!
  • This is a wide remit with no boundaries, and a role that will continually challenge you to learn and develop your own L&D skills as we strive to be the leading contract caterer for stadiums & events.

Package Description

£29,000pa + great bonus & benefits package

Location: Newcastle United Football Club

Work Pattern –40 hrs pw 5/7 to include evenings, weekends and all match days
