We have an exciting opportunity to join LPM Restaurant & Bar in the heart of Mayfair. We’re looking for a friendly and dedicated Training and HR Executive to be part of our growing LPM family.

PURPOSE OF DUTY
To perform HR & Training duties by assisting the business requirements mainly on high level support in Training including Induction, on boarding, appraisals, succession planning, and staff welfare. To ensure that Training requirements of the business are met and LPM colleagues are training compliant as per UK Health and Safety/ Food Safety rules.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To facilitate training induction, Group Orientation and soft-skills training and operational training support as per business requirements.
- To ensure on boarding activities of a new colleague is well prepared prior to joining date including airport pick up, accommodation allocation, induction schedule, communication to HOD’s and inclusion to rota schedule.
- Maintains up to date business documents and relevant records required in Food Safety audits, external inspections, municipality checks etc.
- To assist the HR Manager in forecasting yearly HR / Training / Office Admin requirements for budgeting purposes.
- To ensure HR records and reports are accurate and updated including joiners, leavers, turnover rate, sick leave & holiday balances.
- To ensure Training records and reports are updated including mandatory validities in PIC, Basic Food Handling etc.
- To conduct operational training in sections when required ensuring LPM service standard is always practiced.
- To support the HR Manager in ensuring succession planning map is up to date taking into consideration appraisal feedback.
- To establish and maintain good relationship with external service providers / suppliers in line with the function’s area of influence
- To ensure internal and external training schedules are arranged and communicated properly
- Monitor and create a tracking file of joining dates of the staff and ensure probationary and yearly appraisals are conducted by each HOD. Follow up and escalation is a MUST if it’s not done.
- Conduct performance management meetings with Line Managers in the absence of HR Manager.
- Guide, counsel and coach team members in line with their performance when required.
- Create posters for birthdays, promotions and relevant communication as staff information.
- Update the notice boards on a regular basis
- To assist HR function in planning, scheduling and implementing regular social activities including Staff Party, Team Building and Festive activities.
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To maintain training and communication platform for all LPM colleagues
- To have a positive, direct and open relationship with all colleagues by regularly speaking to them to keep them engaged.
- To treat company property with due care and attention
- To support other team members
- To attend meetings / training sessions as required by the management team
- To respond quickly and positively to changes within their job role, showing flexibility
- To ensure computer drive access is up to date
- To attend management meetings as deem required
- To regularly speak to colleagues on a positive note and keep them engaged
- Perform any ADHOC duties LPM Management may require.
