Job Title: Training Administrator

Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.
We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks. These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm & Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
Main duties and responsibilities:
- The role will work closely with the unit specialists to identify and proactively work on establishment and improving training and competence as well as general best practice communications and standardization
- Working with site managers and man managers to establish a standardised training and competency approach, including completing regular assessments of - process training, competency gap and training ROI. Note this will be both manufacturing specific but also related support controls (Eng. / quality / stock management)
- Creation of bespoke training packs, supporting the needs of the business
- Work with the production team to identify and support process training needs in relation to new business, audit findings and process changes
- Work with HR system to assure training records and controls in place and support managers in assuring training matrix update
- Weekly and monthly reporting on related improvement activities
- Control and co-ordination of companywide training to include post training evaluations
- Ownership of all training companywide
- Oversee the apprentice programme and liaison with external body to ensure learners are on track and ownership of apprenticeship levy
- Involvement in all cross company key meetings, identifying and where necessary developing and improvement of training is required
- Integrate online and blended learning systems to support process skills
- Work closely with all departments to identify and proactively work on cross site projects to continually improve process training and competency
- Provision of manufacturing best practice training for example Kaizen, 5S etc
- Responsible for DSE system and process
- Co-ordination of the CSR activities within the Company
Skills required:
- Competent and confident trainer and communication skills
- Able to use Microsoft (PowerPoint / Excel / work)
- Ability to create own training packages using innovative techniques to teach and assure competence
- Ability to audit and interrogate diverse processes to assure systems are robust to support Training and skills provision and establishing best method for L&D (i.e. classroom / coaching / online)
Qualifications – essential:
