Salary: £24,875 - £34,443 per annum (dependent on experience)

Sandwell College has an exciting opportunity for a Trainer/Assessor in Dental Nursing to join our Apprenticeship department reporting into the Delivery Lead, on a full-time and permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the training and assessment of a caseload of learners and ensure that course related documentation is maintained to a high standard. You will observe learners and complete observations of level 3 learners and record work relevant to this qualification.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivering of high-quality integrated diploma assessment and support across a range of programmes across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands area.
To be considered, you will hold a Dental Nursing Diploma or National Certificate and be willing to work towards your TAQA/CAVA assessors’ qualification - qualified assessors will also be considered. It is also essential that applicants hold current registration with the General Dental Council. A Level 5 teaching qualification would also be desirable or, a willingness to work towards obtaining this.
Please note you do not have to be a qualified Trainer/Assessor to apply, we are open to accepting occupationally competent dental nurses who are GDC registered and are looking to progress to a teaching role within the dental sector.
