Salary: Up to £28K depending on Experience

A wholesale business providing hundreds of different products to many of the country’s finest restaurants, delis and food halls.One of the first retail outlets in Borough Market, Southwark, now regarded as being among the finest food markets in Britain. Five ground breaking tapas bars and restaurants in Central London. A state of the art warehouse and distribution centre which includes cheese maturing rooms and optimal storage conditions for Ibérico meats, fresh fruit and vegetables. Our online shop, which ensures that our delicious Spanish foods are available throughout the UK, whenever and wherever you need them

Key aspects of the job will be:

• Assisting with the development and improvement of the company quality and safety culture

• Working with all operational teams to ensure company and best practice standards, objectives, efficiencies and continuous improvement are maintained

• Logging customer complaints and non-conformances, producing trend analysis reports

• Assisting with customer enquiries (e.g. completing specifications, SAQ, product data)

• Conducting internal inspections and corrective actions completion

• Conducting PRP and CCP checks following set frequencies

• Coordinating samples for microbiology monthly testing

• Assisting with auditing compliance with BRCGS Storage and Distribution and Organic certifications

• General office duties i.e. maintaining databases, keeping files up to date

The Technical department is a fast paced, friendly team of 3

and we are looking for someone who has previously worked in

a similar environment and can manage a challenging and

varied role. A good level of communication is also imperative

in English and Spanish to help ensure the highest levels of

product compliance, food safety and integrity, communication

and a strong auditing resource to the Technical team.

Applicants must have:

• Similar sector experience or a strong interest in food

origins, ingredients and cuisine

• An understanding of food manufacturing and food

safety

• HACCP and industry standards working experience

• Strong organisational and office skills

• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in

both English and Spanish
