TRAINEE WORKSHOP JOINERS -
Jaymax Joinery is one of Edinburgh leading joinery manufactures. Our bench / workshop joiners make a variety of products using wood working machinery and traditional techniques. We are looking to recruit trainee joiners to join our busy workshop.
We are looking for:
- Mature enthusiastic self-driven individuals
- Excellent attendance and time keeping record is essential.
- Keen interest in joinery , demonstrating an enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and take pride in your work
Your Initial role will be:
You will be expected to work from the ground up; Duties will include but are not limited too.
- General housekeeping
- Spray Painting
- Assisting our joiners and wood machinist where required and following direct instructions
- Assisting with deliveries both to our factory and drop off to clients properties.
Things you need to know:
- This role is offered on a rolling trail bases with performance being reviewed on a monthly bases then moving to quarterly
- Wages will be inline with minimum / living wage guidelines until experience is gained
- IN HOUSE TRAINING ONLY - WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING COLLEGE PLACEMENT
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
