Job description
We are looking for experienced Site Managers to join our team in assisting and overseeing the application of our passive fire protection systems and subsea insulation products on site, whether in the UK or overseas, onshore, or offshore.
Experience in a similar role is required, and full training of our products will be provided.

Please note that as travel overseas can be required at short-notice, it is beneficial if you live within reasonable travelling distance of a major airport.
Due to the travel requirements for the role, you must hold a valid current passport and you must be double-jabbed against COVID-19.
As a Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Full understanding of the scope of works and extent of passive fire protection and insulation products to be supplied by AIS
- Review progress in accordance with the project programme and report to the project team with progress to date and any areas for improvement and issues
- Monitor the use of materials, tools and PPE and report any issues to the project team in a timely manner
- Build effective relationships with the customer and their representatives
- Maintain weekly contact with the Senior Site Manager
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors effectively to meet the needs of each project
- Ensure that the site team are fully trained for their role and all QHSE updates are communicated
- Ensure that the site team are fully aware of the scope of work and their responsibilities whilst working on the project
- Recognise opportunity and potential for increased value and report to the project team in a timely manner
- Manage costs effectively to meet the projects requirements
- Provide accurate and transparent reports to the project team, inclusive of daily and weekly records and H&S reports
- Promote the development of staff working within the site team
- Hands-on application of materials as and when required
- Managing site teams to ensure their understanding of responsibilities and scope of work
- Managing stock control through monitoring use of materials, tools and PPE
- Timely completion of all necessary site documentation in legible, accurate and concise format
- Working in line with requirements of quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems
- Ensuring all site activities fully meet Company requirements for QHSE at all times
- Maintaining strict confidentiality on all matters relating to Company business
Ideal candidates will be:
- Willing to work away from home for extended periods of time, including overseas
- Confident with independent working and supervising others
- Capable of working to tight deadlines
- Compliant with health and safety regulations
- Able to maintain high standards of housekeeping on site
- Able to manage field personnel as and when required to ensure adherence to company and legislative procedures
- Comfortable with face-to-face client interactions on site - building effective relationships
- Proficient IT users, particularly with Word, Excel and PDF documents
- Excellent communicators and team-players
Working hours
- On site offshore – 12 hours per day
- On site onshore – 10 hours per day
- Normal place of work – 39 hours per week
Pay & Benefits
- OTE can be £45,000 per annum for this role
- £14.46 per hour / £29,324.88 per annum basic pay
