Job description
The Role
To undertake a varied range of legal, technical and administrative tasks as directed and under close supervision.
Main Duties
To produce his/her own work on the PC with assistance from administrative and secretarial staff.
Undertake an appropriate caseload of straightforward matters within various practice areas, under close supervision.
Interview clients and witnesses and draft statements.
Assist with the preparation of case documents and attend straightforward Court/Tribunal appointments.
Have timely communications in a clear and effective manner.
Person Specification
- Achieved a Law Degree or Law Conversion Degree(E)
- LPC qualified. (E)
- Relevant work experience would be desirable but not essential (D)
- Adept at using IT, including Microsoft applications, (E)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and first class communication skills, both orally and written (E)
- Able to work effectively in a team and on your own (E)
- High levels of initiative and personal motivation (E)
- The ability to show empathy and act appropriately with clients(E)
- Ability to make appropriate timely decisions (E)
- Proven ability to undertake thorough research (D)
