Job description
GTL Plastics specialises in the manufacture and supply of plastic bottles, containers, caps and closures. All manufacture is based in the UK and offers Blow moulding and Injection moulding facilities.
GTL Plastics are looking to take on a number of staff who are looking to start a career / looking for a change in career or even just starting out in their working career with no experience in setting or lacking in the confidence but are seeking to become an engineer or possibly considering engineering. Have you recently left college or university and want to step into engineering ? As a company we recognise that some individuals haven’t had the opportunities in life that others have had and we want to engage with them to train and fill the void of skilled engineers in the Burnley area.
We are looking to recruit 6 new members of staff to work within a department of 50 employees and, over time, shadow our skilled setters to learn machine setting and trouble shooting.

- Full training will be given
- Earn whilst you learn
- Work alongside experienced engineers
Please be advised that this opportunity is only available if you are 18yrs or over, due to the nature of work and for insurance purposes
Salary ranging from £10.42-£11.00 per hour whilst training. Once you are fully trained and skilled you could be earning up to £17 an hour.
