Description
You will work alongside our excellent team of Advisers on specialist funded services to provide a high quality and responsive administrative function for the team. This includes some client contact, managing appointments and updating cases to provide a seamless service to clients.
You will have experience of administrative work, a good telephone manner and be well organised with ability to prioritise your time. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and excellent IT and word processing skills. You will be contacting vulnerable clients to make appointments and support any ongoing client work, so you will need to be empathic and non-judgemental in line with the organisation's values.
Main duties and responsibilities
Manage and process all internal and external post for the team, including scanning and attaching files to cases electronically.- Write letters on behalf of clients and caseworkers
- Assist with general casework management which may include compiling financial information, checking proof of income and expenditure, following up with clients to obtain additional paperwork or communicating with creditors or other agencies.
- Manage caseworker calendars and make appointments.
- Make referrals where appropriate to external agencies.
- Support caseworkers as required to ensure project objectives are met.

Carry out any other tasks that may be within the scope of the post to ensure the effective delivery and development of the service.- Demonstrate commitment to the aims and policies of the Citizens Advice service.
- Abide by health and safety guidelines and share responsibility for own safety and that of colleagues.
- Comply with all Citizens Advice information assurance guidelines.
