Job description
MTI Test Instruments is part of a leading Electrical Wholesaler who operates throughout the United Kingdom, North America, the Middle East, and Australia.
We are currently looking for a Trainee Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Avonmouth. The working hours for this position are typically Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; however, please note that these hours are subject to change.
While knowledge of electrical calibration and basic electronics would be beneficial, it is not a requirement as full training will be provided.
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, and customer-focused. The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
As customer satisfaction is a top priority for us, excellent customer service skills are essential. The ideal candidate should also be well presented and organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
This role will require travel throughout the UK, therefore, a valid driving license is essential. All expenses related to travel will be covered.
Goods Receiving:
Receipt of test equipment and entering relevant details into our proprietary CRS system.
Calibration:
Performing calibration procedures to validate the performance of the test equipment.
Customer Service:
Providing support to customers and colleagues through in-person interactions and email communications.
On-Site Calibration:
Once trained to an adequate level, travel to customer locations throughout the UK to perform on-site calibrations. A company vehicle will be provided.
