We are seeking a motivated and organized Trainee Scheduler to join our scheduling team. As a Trainee Scheduler, you will be at the heart of our company, and play a crucial role in ensuring efficient coordination and allocation of our skilled tradespeople to various projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the scheduling team in coordinating and assigning jobs to our team of joiners, electricians, roofers, gas engineers, painters, and decorators.
- Answer telephone calls, take enquiries, manage emails/correspondence promptly and professionally.
- Tracking jobs and updating customers.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Learn to assess project requirements, client preferences, and resource availability to create optimal schedules.
- Collaborate closely with team members and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Communicate with clients to confirm appointments, gather necessary information, and provide updates on scheduling matters.
- Help maintain accurate records of job assignments, schedules, and changes.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and improvements to scheduling processes.
- Gain familiarity with industry-specific software and tools used for scheduling and communication. (Full training will be given).
