The opportunity
We are currently seeking a trainee recruitment consultant to join a warm desk that would be working with other senior recruiters recruiting for roles in either Estate services, trades and labour, white collar maintenance and admin, you would be helping out with our existing large job flow and being trained on dealing with clients and candidates and how to build relationships with both and eventually leading to having your own desk, there is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to build a large desk after finishing their training program which would of course come with the potential to earn top commission.
What is recruitment?
As a recruitment consultant, you are an intermediary between companies looking to recruit (clients) and people seeking a new career (candidates). Primarily a sales role, a career in recruitment can offer high rewards and quick results. You will be speaking to clients and candidates on a daily basis, matching CVs and people to jobs. You will be meeting clients, networking, using social media and job boards and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process.

The Person

You will be someone who thrives under pressure, can think quickly on their feet and can take ownership of their actions.
This role requires resilience, you will get knocked back but it's about how you pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on to the next task with renewed enthusiasm.
Above everything else, if you are driven, hungry for success and willing to put in the time and energy to make it happen, this might just be the role for you.
Your Background
You will ideally have worked in a target driven environment, within a sales industry such as Estate Agency, Retail or Call Centre. You may even have had some initial exposure to recruitment or have worked as a Resourcer previously. Graduates will also be looked at who show the right drive and determination, You will be used to using your initiative, in a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for your own workload.

You will join our Recruitment Fundamentals University, a training programme overseen by our dedicated talent & development team. In this, you will receive a mixture of online, classroom and on-the-job training whilst having the support of our management team who will help you make the transition from Trainee to Consultant and beyond!
