Trainee Receptionist/Customer Service Agent

At Best Reception, we are now in our 16th year of trading and proud to recently have been recognised as an Investors in People accredited company. Business is booming and as a result, we are looking to take on another dynamic receptionist with a fantastic, can-do attitude and excellent communication skills, who is looking for a company in which they can progress and have a fulfilling career.
Our Ware-based company handles calls on behalf of hundreds of other businesses, ensuring that their calls are answered to an exceptionally high standard, day in day out. THIS POSITION IS BASED IN WARE - WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR REMOTE WORKERS.
What Hours Will I Be Working?
The office is open between the hours of 7.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday; and 8.30am to 5.30pm on Saturdays. You will be expected to work different hours on different days; for example you may work 7.45am to 4.30pm on Monday, and then 10.15am to 7pm on Tuesday. Working a Saturday (on a rotation basis) ensures that you get a day off during the week, so you never work more than 5 days out of 7.
Responsibilities and Duties -What Will I Be Doing?
- Answering calls for our clients to the absolute best of your ability, on each and every call.
- Promptly and efficiently taking and relaying messages to clients.
- Accurately carrying out diary bookings via online diaries, with immaculate attention to detail.
- Working with our clients to ensure we are handling their calls as efficiently and effectively as possible.
- Supporting your colleagues at all times.
- Being extremely friendly, helpful, and going the "extra mile" on every call.

Holidays
You are entitled to 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays). Once you have been with us for 1 year, you get an additional 1 days holiday per year; up to a maximum of 5 additional days per year.
What Do I Get Paid?
The starting salary is £19,200-22,000 per year, depending on age and experience; with an attainable planned progression to £22-25,000 within your first year. Any overtime you work will be paid.
We have a clear career progression within Best Reception which all staff are encouraged to follow, meaning you could be working at management level within a couple of years if that's the path you decide to choose. We have a fantastic training and development scheme in place which enables all receptionists to progress at a pace which works for them. Pay increases in line with the new skills you gain.
Pension Scheme
Best Reception staff are offered the option to partake in Legal and General's pension scheme. Best Reception also pay into this scheme for each employee (who is signed up to the pension scheme) every month.
Bonus Scheme
We have a fantastic bonus scheme - a discretionary performance related pay which is up to an additional 5% of your basic salary. We also have a "Besties" award scheme every 3 months where a deserving staff member is nominated by their colleagues and rewarded with an award of their choice.

*And Finally... No experience is required as full training will be given to the successful applicant but an up-beat, can-do, positive, friendly attitude, with an excellent attendance record, is essential. You must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn, an excellent telephone manner, excellent written and spoken English and an ability to pick up new skills quickly.
