Job description

EM Acoustics are looking for a hard-working, dedicated and self-motivated production engineer to join our rapidly expanding company located on Dunsfold Park in Cranleigh, Surrey.

The successful candidate will join a small but growing team of professionals and will need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

EM Acoustics loudspeakers are used by discerning professionals in the UK and across the globe, and as shows and events continue to gather momentum the team needs to expand.

Job Description

The production team hold a critical role within the factory, working in the area where all the components of our product come together. The role requires significant care and attention to detail, as quality is paramount. The production team are the last staff members to see the product before it is packaged and are responsible for all quality control.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Physical assembly of components into loudspeakers according to production processes.

· Assembly and soldering of internal circuit boards and wiring assemblies.

· Following strict quality control procedures throughout the production process.

· Clear and accurate maintenance of product assembly and QC records.

· Cleaning and packaging of finished product ready for despatch.

Secondary Responsibilities

· Assisting with other areas of the factory as & when required, when primary responsibilities are completed.

Training Provision

Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

The successful candidate would need to be reliable, trustworthy and dependable, with an excellent work ethic and time management skills. You would report to the Production Floor Manager. The job is physical, with a certain amount of lifting required.

Working hours

This position is permanent, is available immediately and is full time Monday-Friday 10am-5.30pm with a half hour break for lunch. Flexibility is available within these hours where lunch break can be extended to 60 minutes, with corresponding extension to the working day.

Remuneration

Salary will be offered depending on experience, between £22,000 and £25,000 per year.
