RSK Group are looking to recruit a Trainee Payroll Assistant to join their rapidly expanding payroll team to support the ongoing growth in the business. This is a full-time role and would suit someone with some administrative experience who enjoys working in a people focused and in a fast-paced office environment. Our head office is based in Helsby, Cheshire however we are happy for people to work from home. This is a varied role with opportunities for progression.

Trainee Payroll Assistant – Cheshire
Responsibilities:
- Collation of data and processing of monthly payrolls, to include sickness, absence, bonus/overtime payments, pensions.
- Recording payroll data and reporting to HMRC.
- Processing starters and leavers.
- Processing bank payments and approvals.
- Responding to queries from staff/management.
Person specification:
- Possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent (including Maths and English)
- Knowledge of computerised systems and experience of an office environment would be an advantage
- Confident communicator
- Professional approach and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Ability to analyse and interpret data with a good attention to detail
- Able to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines, prioritising with a flexible approach
- Some knowledge of Iris Cascade is preferred but not essential
