VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Trainee Payroll Administrator for a leading global financial organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a thriving company that offers an amazing working environment, fantastic package and progression opportunities
This role will be Hybrid working, involving a split of working in Belfast City Centre, and working from home. This is a Monday - Friday position (Permanent).
Salary:
£21,000 - £22,500 + Progression Opportunities + Great Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the accurate input of our Clients’ payroll data onto current payroll software.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues through ensuring that all data is accurate and that queries are progressed both accurately and efficiently as guided by your line Manager.
- Complete assignments within agreed timescales e.g. adhere to monthly payroll deadlines.
- Ensure that the firm’s risk management procedures, including Data Protection and the prevention of money laundering; and quality control procedures are adhered to at all times, including all administration.
- Undertake any training or development co-ordinated by the Payroll/Tax Team.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good organisational and administration skills with the ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a professional services environment
