Job description
- Pay: Up to £20,000 starting salary + training + career progression
- 8.30 - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings.
Reporting to the Garage Manager and working as part of a small friendly team, as a Trainee Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and promptly picking and supplying vehicle parts to our client’s workshop staff in order to carry out associated vehicle repairs.
Trainee Parts Advisors will also carry out parts stock control and audits, deal with trade/retail customers regarding parts inquiries, and on occasions cover delivery runs in the absence of a Parts Delivery Driver.

Whilst recent or current vehicle parts knowledge would be highly advantageous, it is non-essential as full training shall be given for this Trainee Parts Advisor role.
Overall, for this Trainee Parts Advisor role, you will need to be IT literate given you will work daily with an electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service/sales skills with a friendly and charismatic telephone manner.
Any experience in the motor trade or working with the Pinewood Pinnacle dealer management system would be highly advantageous but is non-essential.
