We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our well-established Commercial Property team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months legal experience working as a administrator within a Commercial department.
Key tasks and responsibilities
· To Assist lawyers on a full caseload of files for clients including company commercial work for sole traders, partners, directors and shareholders including:
o Sales, mergers and acquisitions of business and corporate reconstructions
o General commercial agreements
o Shareholder, LLP and Partnership Agreements
o Small business purchases
o Assets and share purchase agreements
· Liaise with clients and third parties in the lawyer’s absence
· Administrating client matters using SOS, a case management system
· Provide client care and excellent customer service
· To undertake file opening procedures in an accurate and timely manner
· Undertake archiving responsibilities
· Answer the telephone and deal proactively with a range of client matters
· Scan ID to SOS and carry out AML searches
· Ensure compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society etc
The Person
· A candidate will be familiar with the legal administration of a range of commercial matters
· They will have excellent interpersonal skills
· High level of attention to detail and accuracy
