Element has an opportunity for a Trainee Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician. You will be responsible for assisting NDT processes in accordance with company approved procedures while paying close attention to safety and project timelines. Responsibilities:
- Assist NDT tests and processing in accordance with written company procedures. A high proportion of manual handling of components is required
- Help prepare components for test, unpack, pre clean, setup, and adjust test equipment Post test cleaning, treatment and re packing of parts
- Assist in the maintenance of related test equipment and tools in good working condition
- Completion of assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Possess great organizational skills
- Have a great teamwork philosophy
- Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
- Educated to a good general level in maths and/or a science subject.
- Good general education including English and Maths
- Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided
- Passion for developing a career in Engineering is essential
- An awareness of and passion for health and safety
