What's the role about?
As part of our Merchandising department, you'll be joining as our Wholesale & Franchise Trainee Merchandiser, who is responsible of allocating and trading stock with partners on a wholesale or franchise basis. Working with product teams to optimise range selection, allocating stock, managing data and imagery, and maintaining strong partner relations.
Who you are
- Experience or internship in merchandising is desirable but not essential
- Previous retail experience is preferred
- Excellent administration skills and experience working with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Well organised with time management skills
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
What you'll be doing
- Raising sales orders to secure Wholesale & Franchise stock as it arrives in the business, completing the allocation and dispatch process to ensure committed stock is sent to partners within the terms of their trading agreement
- Sharing metadata and imagery with W&F partners
- Building strong partnerships with product and warehouse teams
- Supporting Wholesale market process either in- house or virtually
- Producing picture boards of partner best-sellers, historical and future buys to support the buy analysis produced by the Assistant Merchandiser/Merchandiser
- Updating and maintaining weekly department sales and stock reporting, utilising partner portals to pull reporting data
- Building a strong understanding of each Reiss Wholesale & Franchise partner, their market and needs
