Aberdein Considine are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic individual who is looking for their first step in to a Leasing career. The successful candidate will join our Leasing team in Aberdeen where full training on the role will be provided. This role will also be open to apprentice level applicants too.
Key Responsibilities:
The role will involve completing property viewings with potential applicants and providing customer service support including telephone calls, office visitors and emails. Other key duties will include:
- Establishing and maintaining excellent communication with landlords, tenants, contractors, or other relevant parties
- Willingness to hold in-person, telephone and virtual meetings with landlords, tenants or other relevant parties
- Providing letting support including preparing properties for marketing, dealing with applicant enquiries, diary management for appraisals and viewings etc. Dealing with tenancy applications and regularly liaising with department administration and accounts team
- Establish and nurture good relationships with clients, business connections, branch office colleagues, the wider lettings team and other departments
- Take responsibility for own personal development and maintain awareness of market conditions and trends, keeping appraised of legislative changes and industry news
- Engagement with marketing department to increase profile of landlord services via the company’s social media outlets
- Actively manage and minimise any risk to the company, whether financially, legally, or reputationally, ensuring compliance with the Letting Agent Code of Practice
- Identify and develop other business opportunities for this or other departments within the firm including sales, financial services, etc
- Providing support to the management team and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the department, working together to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve performance related bonus targets
