Our client is seeking for a Trainee Legal Secretary to support their growing team ASAP!

With long established experience and reputation for over 60 years in the heart of historic Hastings. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow with a highly trained, specialised team, who pride themselves on their caring, friendly and professional approach.

The Trainee Legal Secretary role will cover:

• Dealing with post
• Emails
• Filing
• Archiving
• Dictation letters, documents – letters, draft wills, lpa’s,
• Telephone enquiries for existing and new clients
• Appointments
• Witnessing Wills
• Dealing with elderly and vulnerable clients and bereavements / illnesses

The successful candidate will be / have:

• Well presented with a professional, kind phone manner
• Good communication skills, including excellent grammar and spelling
• Friendly, patient and approachable attitude
• Quick learner and can use own initiative
• Strong desire to learn and progress

The Trainee Legal Secretary role will be working within the Private Client team, supporting the company partner and the wider team. Full training and support will be given for this role.

Salary & package:

• £18,000 - £20,000 DOE
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays and Xmas closure.
• Pension

Hours: 9am-5pm Monday – Friday (1 hour for lunch)
Location: Hastings
