Job description
We are looking for a fitters assistant to assist in the installation of bathrooms and central heating within the domestic setting. Wage is dependent on the amount of experience the candidate has. Some experience preferred in the areas of home improvement : general joinery, tiling, plumbing and electrics. However this is not essential as this is the type of position where we expect you may need to learn on the job. This job is suited to anyone who has previously worked in the home improvement sector or looking to go into a career in this area. This is a starting position where you can develop, previous employees who have started in this post have gone on to progress to full fitters.
The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:
- Good communicator.
- Quick learner.
- Polite and courteous.
- Trustworthy.
- Be able to work from job schedules and be able to follow these and work from instructions
- Work to timescales
- Have good housekeeping skills and be able to adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Be flexible and reliable to their approach to their work
- Have a full clean driving licence
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Salary: £19,697.61-£34,617.87 per year
