Trainee HR Advisor
Location: Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education HQ, Barmston Court, Turbine Business Park, Nissan Way, Washington, SR5 3NY
Salary: Grade F (£25,409 - £27,852 per annum)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Full time, Full Year, Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee HR Advisor to join the Human Resources team at Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust as soon as possible. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has great attention to detail, is organised, passionate and has an interest in working with people.
Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust is a family of 5 secondary schools and 43 primary schools (with another due to join in the Summer of 2023) from across Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland, in the west of the Diocese. This is an exciting time to join our supportive and growing team.
As Trainee HR Advisor you work closely with both the HR Advisory team as well as the HR Operations team and will support in providing high quality HR advice and support to the schools within our Trust.
Ideally with previous experience of working in an HR administrative or support role, you will have enthusiasm for HR and a strong customer service ethos. This role involves a high level of interaction with a variety of people across the Trust therefore the ability to engage and maintain positive working relationships is vital along with strong interpersonal skills.
As a trainee HR advisor you will be given the opportunity to experience both advisory and operational elements of HR. We will support you in achieving a Level 5 HR qualification which will allow you to develop the skills and knowledge you need to enable you to progress in the next step of your HR career.
