If so we have a fantastic opportunity to join our finance team as a Trainee Finance Assistant. Our Sales Ledger function covers four brands within the Theo Paphitis Retail Group, Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas, Boux Avenue and the London Graphic Centre. Each ledger has a unique set of customers with different needs and requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • New account set up, collate new customer information, including Creditsafe reports
  • Raise and distribute all invoices and Credit notes as required
  • Customer account maintenance - updating details and ensuring details are accurate in line with company policy
  • Working with various stakeholders across the business
  • Processing telephone customer bank card payments
  • Handling customer enquiries by telephone, email and letter
  • Liaising with the sales team and creating daily reports
  • Issue discount / account cards when required
  • Scanning, filing and archiving
  • Monitoring the Business accounts inbox
  • Supporting the Sales Ledger team with any ad-hoc processes as required
