Trainee Finance Analyst
Manchester Airport
£20,000 – £22,000
This role is perfect for you if you were the numbers genius in your Maths class or the person everyone turned to with an Excel-related question.
It’s the ideal opportunity for a someone with 6 months’ finance experience or a graduate in accounting, economics, business or statistics who has an analytical mindset; the person everyone calls a perfectionist as you have to make sure everything balances and with zero errors!
You will report into the Finance Manager who is motivating, encouraging and on hand for support but who will also allow you to develop your own working style.
Your mentor will be the Senior Analyst who I placed in the Trainee role 2 years ago and he has now progressed; he will be your sound board day to day, on hand to answer any questions and ensure you’re confident in your role.
It will be your responsibility to analyse the company’s income and expenditure, producing Excel reports on a daily, weekly & monthly basis that the finance team can use for the Profit & Loss and setting the budget.
If you pride yourself on your accuracy skills & your attention to detail is spot on, you will be tasked with analysing how each department is performing, where costs can be saved and where the business needs to pump more funds… then being given a voice to project your findings in Board Meetings with the help of your superiors.
