Responsibilities
Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS):
Present in 29 locations worldwide with around 4,000 employees, SGSS provides financial institutions and brokers, asset managers and insurers, and businesses with a full range of securities services adapted to the latest financial market and regulatory trends: clearing services, custody and trustee services, retail custody services, liquidity management, fund administration and asset servicing, fund distribution and global issuer services.
Within SGSS, the Commercial, Marketing and Solutions Division (SGSS/CMS) has global responsibility for client relations and canvassing.
Societe Generale Global Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS):
The GTPS Business Unit includes Payment & Cash Management (PCM), Trade Services (TRA) and Cash Clearing Services (BAN), as well as the FX services associated with these activities.
- The PCM team delivers and supports cash management products and services that are provided to our corporate customers. With over 6,000 specialists in over 50 countries, PCM is a strategic activity for Societe Generale, and we can offer the expertise of a large international banking group and experience spanning over twenty years.
- The TRA team delivers all trade-related services such as documentary credits or LCs, Standby Letters of Credit, International guarantees and finance associated across 50 countries.
Summary of the key purposes of the role - Summary of the key objectives and primary goals
- Provide support to the SGSS/CMS and GTPS teams, including:
- scheduling meetings, dealing with meeting conflicts, booking meeting rooms,
- making travel and hotel bookings,
- processing expenses,
- arranging client lunches both in-house and external.
Summary of responsibilities
- Making travel arrangements for the SGSS/CMS and GTPS teams.
- Processing expenses for the SGSS/CMS and GTPS teams.
- Providing cover for the Executive Assistant to the Head of GTPS.
- Arranging client meetings.
- Providing administrative support in relation to corporate hospitality, seminars, conferences and other events both internal and external.
- Arranging in-house lunches/breakfasts.
- Arranging itineraries for overseas visitors
- Collecting and distributing post
- Ad hoc administrative support to the team including preparing client pitches and RFPs (Request for Proposal)
Level of Autonomy and Authority - Define the autonomy of the role and what the job holder can authorise and make decisions on - If applicable
- Autonomy to work under own management whilst under the direction of the Executive Assistant to the Head of GTPS.

Competencies -
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills in particular when communicating with clients.
- Highly computer literate.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative manner.
- Good inter-personal skills with the ability to forge and develop relationships with internal and external contacts.
