This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive Team of Energy Technician’s and Consultants in one of the most exciting and rapidly growing industries.
The Role:
Due to continued expansion we are looking to recruit a Trainee Energy Technician to join our team. Based at our Wakefield office, the successful candidate will form part of our Modelling team and play a key role in delivering a variety of projects. Those selected for the position will assist with the completion of energy simulations using our industry leading 3D modelling software, producing energy certification and high-level audits for our UK wide customer base. There will also be the opportunity to assist with the delivery of energy saving projects across large property portfolios. Full training will be given to the successful candidate, providing them with the ideal start to developing a career in the ever-growing Energy & Carbon Reduction Industry.
You will be responsible for:
· The simulation of surveys completed by our field-based consultants to help determine a properties energy efficiency
· The Simulation of energy saving technologies and concepts to understand how a building can be improved
· The provision of technical advice to clients in relation to energy reduction & saving findings
· Working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver for the customer
· Identifying new research/products that could be used in energy reduction audits
· Working in project teams to complete detailed assessments of complex buildings

Desirable:
· A degree in a surveying, construction, architectural or environmental discipline
· Previous experience of CAD or other Property Modelling software e.g. google sketch up
