Job description
Cadbury Dental Practice are looking to recruit a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our fun, friendly team.
We are a mixed NHS / private practice located on the beautiful Bournville Green in the heart of Bournville.
The position is full time and permanent.
Training will be provided in house by Inspire Training gaining Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3.
You will assist with all aspects of dental nursing and reception, this includes:
- Welcome patients into the practice and make them feel at ease
- Assisting the dentist or hygienist to deliver excellent dental treatment
- Ensuring a high standard of patient care and customer service
- Demonstrate a high standard of infection control and ensure to follow cross-infection policies and procedures at all times
- Preparing the surgery for treatments / closing the surgery down
- Develop X-rays
- Reception duties when required (answering the telephone and emails, booking appointments, filing. upkeep of patient records etc
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Caring for practice equipment
- Communicating with patients
you will need to be

You will be required to be immunised against Hepatitis B and DBS checked
