Trainee Data Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Data Analyst to join an innovative and forward-thinking IT software company with extensive growth plans.

As a Trainee Data Analyst, you will be key member of the Client Onboarding Team which designs, configures, and supports client automation solutions.

Working closely with both client business users and internal project team members, you will be responsible for understanding client requirements before configuring, testing and supporting client solutions on the platform.

This is a hands-on role, and you will work closely with Project Managers and other Analysts to always ensure the best possible client onboarding experience by designing solutions, using mapping software to configure the solutions and providing expertise and understanding of automation capabilities.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Participate in requirement gathering workshops.
  • Analysis of customers’ master data to ensure it is fit for purpose and feedback to customers on any issues or changes required.
  • Analysis of customers’ rules and requirements to ensure they are logical and able to be automated using the master data / documents provided.
  • Monitoring the project schedule, ensuring time is managed appropriately and PM’s are updated on progress or challenges.
  • Testing of client solutions against provided requirements.
  • Deployment of client solutions between platforms.
  • Providing support to customers during user acceptance testing including documentation, customer communication and resolution of feedback following best practice.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing to individuals of all levels, including clients.
  • Evidence of ability to work with logic-based tools, such as mapping software or programming experience.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong logical organization and procedural thinking and technical skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and continually improve.
