About the role
- Baking and decorating a variety of biscuits, sponges, buns and more (including our famous Mr Blobby biscuits!)
- Full training provided
- Food Hygiene Certificate Provided

- To adhere to an expectation of tidiness and cleanliness of oneself and workstation, as set down in company handbook.
- No previous experience of baking necesary but some experience working in a food production role is an advantage.
Hours of Work
- 25 to 35 hours a week. Up to 40 hours if covering holiday and sickness. 4 - 6 Days a week. Saturdays essential. Sundays always a day off.
- 5am - 2pm shifts (finish time depends on number of orders)

About Us
Grace’s Bakery is a family run business based on the Isle of Wight. The Company was established in 1997 and has a long-established reputation for high end consistent produce. In 2020, we were awarded Best Customer Service at the Bakery Industry Awards and Best Small Shop: COVID 19 Response at the Best Small Shops awards. We are continually growing and now comprise of five retail shops across the island, a substantial wholesale to some of the leading food retailers across the region and an Island-Wide home delivery service.
Our production facility is based in Ryde where all our products are made from scratch.
The bakery is made up of 4 production teams, the bread dept., morning goods dept., confectionery dept., and sandwiches and savoury dept. The company employs approximately 80 people.
Baking is our passion and as such our ethos is to give young people a chance to train for a new career in the baking industry. This opportunity can, once you have mastered the bakery skills in all aspect of baking and confectionery, give you skills to work in many different parts of the world.
