About:

The Bateman Group is a respected independent insurance broker that has been established since 1967; and we are currently seeking to recruit a Trainee Account Handler to work within our small, friendly Commercial insurance team in providing client-focused advice and support to our existing and future client account.

Requirements of Account Handler role:

  • To manage own allocated account of Commercial & Scheme clients
  • To process all renewal, MTA & claims on allocated clients
  • To liaise with Commercial Account Executives on new business enquiries
  • To provide broking support for new business presentations & placing of business secured
  • Direct input into the development & evolution of this area of the business
  • Liaison with Accounts Dept. regarding credit control

Support Available:

  • CII Apprenticeship scheme to obtain Cert & Dip CII Qualifications

  • 1:1 training & coaching

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years’ insurance industry experience preferred, but not mandatory
  • Household & motor insurance experience would be a bonus
  • Must live within commuting distance of Warwick, Midlands, UK
