Job description
We have an opportunity for a Trainee CAD Operator/Office assistant to join our company based in Grays Essex.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and willingness to support the existing staff whilst developing new and existing skills. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, flexible, computer literate have good communication skills, have an eye for detail and have a sense of humour.
Experience in kitchen and bedroom industry and/or CAD would have a distinct advantage but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
This is a full time role of 40 hours per week with a starting salary of £18,000 to £23,000 depending upon age and experience.
The hours of work are 9 to 5 Monday to Friday but may include Saturdays if required to cover other department holidays.
The duties for this role include:-
Input floor plans onto CAD system to produce 3D images and quotations for our salesmen
General office duties
Booking appointments
Answering the telephone
Filing
Dealing with general enquiries
